From Us

American Apparel is a California based clothing brand known for a hipper and more socially conscious appeal. The company pays their warehouse workers much higher than average wages, and they've been outspoken in their support of progressive causes like LGTBQ Rights.

Some users may be aware that American Apparel was embroiled in a scandal regarding the behavior of founder's Dev Charney towards female employees. Obviously, some consumers may not want to support the company given Charney's actions, especially those passionate about Women's Rights. However, Charney no longer works at American Apparel, he was forced out several years ago. So consumers who may have an issue with this can shop at American Apparel with a clear conscience.
